Hello, my name is Svitlana.
I am a Ukrainian documentary filmmaker with over 20 years of experience in television, journalism and film. I have been based in the UK since 2022.
My work focuses on real people and contemporary social issues — migration, identity, displacement, young people and communities.
I work across the documentary process, from research and interviews to directing, camera and editing, creating films and collaborative projects across the UK, Ukraine and Europe.
